The Melbourne Chamber Music Society is currently in its 31st season of bringing internationally acclaimed chamber music ensembles to the Brevard County, Florida area. The Society was formed as a not-for-profit corporation in 1978. We offer a season membership subscription as well as single concert tickets. The Society also offers an annual Educational Outreach Workshop for Brevard music students with one of the season's internationally renowned ensembles. This is a unique opportunity for students to interact with great musicians and is one of the benefits that the Melbourne Chamber Music Society provides to the local area. This community band was established in 1965 with 16 members in Melbourne, Florida. Today, the band has more than 80 members, with many offshoot groups. The Melbourne band plays free concerts for the citizens of Brevard County nearly every month, and also contributes to the community through parades, patriotic concerts and ceremonial performances.
In a typical year, the band serves 69,000 concert attendees and its members give 27,000 hours of community service in the form of rehearsals and performance time.

The Space Coast Pops is a professional orchestra, which performs all kinds of good music for the young to the young at heart. Its entertaining concerts frequently showcase outstanding local performers as well as guest artists. Throughout the year the Pops involves families by sponsoring the Youth Music Fest and the Young Performing Artists Competition. These events are held in areas of the county not otherwise considered a part of our cultural scene.
