Though diving is doable 12 months a year anywhere in Florida, the oceans are best in the summer and springs best in winter. Ocean water temps in the summer are in the low to mid 80's, winter around 70 in south Florida and low 60's further north. The springs stay at 72 year round.
Joe Bartoszek has been an instructor in the central Florida area since 1977. Joe is a retired NASA Engineer, now dedicated full-time to diving and promoting the Ocean Environment with particular concern for the Brevard, Indian River and St Lucie county offshore reefs.
